Good morning everyone. Thank the Lord for this beautiful rain. But with rain comes dangerous road conditions. It seems like tonight we have done multiple winch outs for light, medium and heavy duty vehicles. Please be careful, watch your speed, and be aware of your surroundings. Yes even though it’s raining, we are open and available for all your towing and roadside needs. Be safe out there!

Well it’s a little chilly out this morning. We did get a little snow early this morning. Y’all please be careful if you have to drive in this weather. Please if you do, drive with your lights on, drive a safe speed and please do not use the cruise control control. Be aware of other drivers. Stay safe and warm out there! Heavy Duty Tow Truck Driver

Job Summary:

Our company is looking for a Tow Truck Driver to join our fleet who can perform wrecker service to heavy vehicles, i.e. large trucks/tractor trailers. A background in roadside assistance or experience loading and unloading a flatbed truck is a plus. Your primary duties will revolve around assisting disabled vehicles and transporting them to designated areas. Additional steps may be necessary when towing larger vehicles. Training will be provided to ensure the driver is road-ready.

For non-commercial/privately owned vehicles, the two driver may have to provide services such as changing their tires or transporting them to a nearby garage, or towing cars that have a parking or other illegal infraction. Our ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and can manage their time well while on the road.
Tow Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities

Respond to accidents, break-downs, and other roadside incidents
Stay in contact with motorists when you are en route
Perform basic repairs or tow their vehicle to a garage
Safely load cars onto the back of your truck
Keep your truck clean and in good condition
Remove illegally parked vehicles

Tow Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications

Must pass a background check
Must pass a drug and alcohol test
Strong communication and time management skills
Basic mechanical skills
Attention to detail when documenting work

NOTE:

Physical strength and stamina are vitally important when towing heavier vehicles.
Commission-based pay that can average $1000- $2000 or more weekly.
