The Captain Whittaker is a 65-foot open-to-the-public Charter Fishing Boat sailing out of Captree State Park for over 60 years. We are Captree’s ONLY bay fishing vessel and pride ourselves on providing the best family fishing experience! Currently fishing for striped bass, we can accommodate up to 75 passengers. The Captain Whittaker cruises and fishes in the Great South Bay and Captree Inlet. We

do not go fishing in the Atlantic Ocean, where the seas are rougher. We sail in the calmer waters of the Bay and Inlet only. The Captree Inlet is a wonderful place to fish! It is very much alive and features amazing surroundings. The ocean and bay waters stream with the tides and attract all types of marine life and a whole lot of fish! The Captain Whittaker features a newly renovated heated main cabin and a great second deck seating area to enjoy the sun and breeze. We offer a coffee and snack bar with a variety of chips and candy, coffee, water, and soft drinks. We also have individual clean, updated restrooms for both men and women. We have the GREEN LIGHT !!! The Capt Whittaker will start sailing every day this Thursday . Some thing will be a little different as we move through NY phases . We will be sailing extremely limited load. Reservations will be required. You can buy tickets online at Captain Whitaker.com or call Captain Rick at 631)597-7087 .
9AM -1PM and then back out 2PM-5PM
Face coverings must be worn
6 ft distance and being mindful of other passengers. See you on the boat !!!!!
