This is new technology! A
permanent way to bond UHMW-Pe plastic to rubber to steel to form this composite. Up to know- these dissimilar materials would not bond. Space age technology!

The bunk rails on your boat trailor not only do not hold up to the lake or river water you put your boat in- they're not going to hold up in normal weather conditions like when they're parked at home. Rain will rust and rot the wood without you even noticing it- until you need it.
