My Waco Grand Opening: I’m dedicating this grand opening to my PawPaw. One of my biggest fans.

It’s hard to adequately express what it’s like to continue living your life on earth, when your biggest fan is no longer here to cheer you on.

But today I got to prep for my grand opening, on my second location, with all the special people that I still have in my life. People warn you about working with family (rightfully so🫣) but these are bright spots in my career. North Star, spots.

But I thumbed through my 20 some-odd *thousand* photos on my phone and chose this simple one—because it represents why I love my company. I love my apples. I’m beyond obsessed with my caramel. Being creative keeps me up at night. However, those are not sustainable reasons to keep doing what I do.

I do it for the people. Being around you guys. Being around my staff. Being creative with other entrepreneurs.
