Hello football families!!!
Don’t forget registration will start this coming week! Also I will need to cancel the 6/25 registration date on the forms sent home due to time and needing to order equipment. Thanks for understanding!

🏈Flyers will be handed out to all children at the LPQ this coming week.
🏈 If the listed dates do not work for you please let me know! We can arrange another day/time.
🏈kids must be age 5 by the first practice which will be August 3rd.

Happy spring everyone! Us commissioners for the AFL have had a few meetings so far and wanted to just give an update on a few things for this coming season! 🏈🪓

1. Keep an eye for for flyers and posting about registration dates. I will be giving them to LPQ beginning of May for June registration.
2. I will be in need of a new co-commissioner after this season, anyone interested please let me know!
3. Tackle players….Helmets will now be owned by the AFL and be part of “rental equipment” which means handing them in with shoulder pads/gear at the closing game. This is due to increased helmet regulations and need for more frequent inspections/reconditioning needed on them to make sure they are safe for players.
If you already have a helmet you may choose to keep it or return it for a discount on registration fee but you will need a new one either way.
4. Coaches will be needed for flag teams and one more for tackle B. If interested let me know!

The Tupper Lake Central School District appears likely to move back to 11-man football next season for the first time since 2017, with the exception of spring 2021, when the Lumberjacks played an abbreviated two-game season because of the coronavirus pandemic.
