Additional information about where our well is and how it's making an impact on families and their community:

Beracah is a large rural community in Zambia where Bright Hope is currently serving. To date, Beracah has 5 wells (and now ours!) that are being constructed. Families are no longer plagued with water borne illness as they are now drinking fresh water. Also, many families have created fishponds where they raise and sell fish to generate income which creates sustainable homes, lives, and families! These are just some of the incredible indicators of how this clean water is making a huge impact on this rural community!

I founded The Pump at the age of 13 and now on the eve of my 18th birthday, I have an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Life has been busy and updates are rare, but we're still here cranking out headbands with a desire to make a difference. Thank you for your support, encouragement and prayers.
