As we inch closer to the 7th Annual Toledo's Juneteenth Celebration
We would like to acknowledge the incident over the weekend.
May healing and comfort surround those directly and indirectly affected.
If you require additional assistance please reach out to resources made available by the community.
For the Juneteenth Celebration, please be advised we do not take that horrible incident lightly. We are being very proactive in ways to eliminate any possible dangers.
Please observe the following event rules:
1. Children Must Be Accompanied:
For the safety and well-being of our younger attendees, all children under the age of 21 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult (21+) at all times.
2. No Ski Masks or Full Face Coverings: For security purposes and the comfort of all guests, ski masks and any other full-face coverings are not permitted on the property. (This does not apply to face coverings worn for medical reasons).
3. No Weapons Allowed:
The safety of our community is paramount. Weapons of any kind, including fi****ms, knives, and any other implements that could cause harm, are strictly prohibited on event grounds.
4. Keep Our Space Safe & Respectful:
* Please be mindful of those around you and respect personal space.
* Follow the instructions of event staff, security, and volunteers.
* Report any suspicious activity or concerns to event personnel immediately.
* Let's work together to maintain a positive, family-friendly atmosphere throughout the day.
5. No bags allowed:
This includes bookbags, duffle bags, oversized purses (wallet size only permitted). With that all bags will be checked upon entry.
6. Absolutely NO golf carts allowed:
Riding a golf cart to the premises will get you denied entry. Only direct staff will be allowed to function golf carts within the park.
7. No Drop offs allowed:
Absolutely no doing off of any youth for any reason under any circumstance. They will be asked to leave the premises until they can be accompanied by an adult. We can't stress this enough.
Along with these rules please understand that security will be throughout the park for the entire event. We have placed additional security for the health and safety for all that intend to come out and enjoy the celebration.
This will not be a space taken over by violence or ignorance.
