Packing well is a skill, and like most travel skills, it gets easier with practice.

No matter how long I’m traveling for - a long weekend or 3 weeks - these are the packing rules I come back to for every trip. I know not everyone is a carry on only traveler like me, but these rules paired with a good suitcase that has build in compression make all the difference.

I don’t know about you, but Montenegro is on my list. I’m looking to go places in Europe that are a little less traveled but still have gorgeous scenery, great food, and people eager to share their culture. For 2026, I picked Malta, but maybe Montenegro is where I’ll go in 2027. Where are you thinking of going this summer? Tell me in the comments.

Costa Rica has been on my radar for a while, and the more I research it for clients, the more I want to go myself.

The nature, the wildlife, the beaches. It delivers on all of it, and the range of stays available is genuinely impressive, from luxury safari tents in the rainforest to a Ritz-Carlton Reserve on a protected stretch of coastline. JW Marriott is opening their first all-inclusive in Costa Rica in September and I’m already keeping an eye on it.
