In our younger years, the draw of New York City was undeniable. Now, we’re drawn to upstate New York. We spent two weeks traveling around the state enjoying its scenery, attractions, and libations.

Our first stop was Thousand Islands. Our boat trip to Singer and Boldt Castles was an unforgettable experience.

Happy landmark birthday to my greatest blessing!!!!! He brings laughter and joy into our lives with his quick wit and sense of humor. Tommy can fix anything, he can find a solution to most things because he’s never afraid to take on a challenge. He’s a great listener and gives spot on advice. Tommy is a kind soul, I knew that from the moment I saw how young kids react to him. I love him with all my heart and pray that God continues to bless him with many more years to love and pamper me. ❤️

In Burlington, Vermont we visited the Shelburne Museum and got to see the Ticonderoga amongst an eclectic collection of interesting items. We loved riding the bike trail that included a ferry ride to Grand Isle, Vt. The views of the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks were spectacular.

Adding New Hampshire to our “Must return in the Fall” list. The views were never ending despite the smoke from wild fires and the numerous hikes are suitable for a variety of skill levels. Our campsite was within Franconia Notch State Park and very conveniently located to the small towns surrounding the White Mountains.

Lubec, Maine is the easternmost point in the United States. The West Quoddy Lighthouse and the Head Harbour Lighthouse were some of our favorites in all of Maine.
