There's something about Budapest after sunset that completely transforms the city.

As the lights dance across the Danube and landmarks like the Hungarian Parliament and Buda Castle begin to glow, the entire city feels like it's stepped into a storybook.

Whether you're strolling along the riverbank, crossing one of its iconic bridges, or admiring the skyline from the water, Budapest at night is an experience that's hard to put into words and one I'll never forget.

🧌 Seattle's most famous resident isn't who you'd expect...

Hidden beneath the Aurora Bridge in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood is the Fremont Troll, one of the city's most iconic (and quirky!) landmarks.

Standing about 18 feet tall, this massive concrete sculpture has been surprising visitors since 1990. Inspired by the Scandinavian folktale Three Billy Goats Gruff, the troll was created as part of a community art project to transform the space beneath the bridge into something fun and memorable.

Look closely and you'll notice it's clutching a real Volkswagen Beetle in one hand, while its shimmering eye is made from a hubcap!

It's a quick stop, completely free to visit, and one of those off-the-beaten-path attractions that adds a little extra fun to a day exploring Seattle.
