For the first time in 25+ years of business we had to dump out on the road with a fire. Cause is unknown, but please be mindful of what you’re putting in your trash. Everyone on our automated routes that has not been picked up should expect significant delays for the rest of the day. This will be for sievers rd old 41 brown rd 15th 16th st. Schoolhouse road 6th street rd. Please leave your totes out. We will be working late tonight

We are looking to fill our slinger position
Starting wage $16/hour

Job description
Working the back of our rear load truck.
Our truck is equipped with a tipper to dump trash into the truck, leaving very little to handle by hand.
Must be physically able, you will be on your feet moving totes from the roadside to the truck.
Start time 7 am leaving from Sullivan.


Working days Monday -Thursday
Off days Friday - Sunday
35-40 hours a week Pd 40hrs for full work weeks. Pd overtime when needed.

We are looking for a full time driver for automated routes and some roll off work.
As of right now routes are ran Monday -Thursday with NO exceptions and NO excuses. Friday is subject to change, but currently has no route. Can be filled with roll off work or shop work for the moment and may eventually turn into a Friday route.
*Requirements
-Class B cdl minimum, with a clean driving record.
-Submit to drug testing
-Good hand eye coordination will help
-Physically abled body (you will be in and out of the truck often) must be able to get out and move totes around and do what is necessary to get the job done and fill in where needed.
-Some mechanical and equipment operating knowledge would be helpful.
-Keep a clean work space. Just because we pick up trash doesn’t mean our truck cabs need to be trashy.
*Benefits package
-We currently do not offer any insurance package
Our benefit package is starting wage of $28/hr. Guaranteed job week after week guaranteed paycheck every week and paid overtime
Eligible for pay raise based on attendance and performance after 6 months.
1 week paid vacation after 1 year.

You’ll have that on them big jobs 😅😅 Thursday about 10 AM one of our packing cylinders in the automated truck blew. Usually pulling these cylinders isn’t that big of a deal. However, given the current shape they was in it was going to take longer to tear apart than it would do us good by the end of the day. So we done a rear load rescue to finish out Thursday. 😮‍💨
New cylinders are going in today and our automated truck should be back in business.

Automated routes expect some delay. We had to pull off for some repairs.

Expect pretty significant delays. Our truck just blew a hydraulic line, we are pulling off route for repairs.

Repairs have been made. Automated truck headed back for route.

I have just received phone calls and txt messages regarding an incident in Carlisle on Alexander street. Before any rumors go around without facts. L&L Disposal does not and will not set roll off dumpsters on the side of the road for this very reason. The roll off dumpster involved is NOT an L&L container.
