I have just received phone calls and txt messages regarding an incident in Carlisle on Alexander street. Before any rumors go around without facts. L&L Disposal does not and will not set roll off dumpsters on the side of the road for this very reason. The roll off dumpster involved is NOT an L&L container.

Bicknell residents we are going to give it a go. To get started we are going to stay within city limits and go from there. For service starting as soon as next week. To get started send us a message on here day or night! We will be looking to deliver totes this weekend.

We have been getting some inquiries about service in Bicknell. We would be willing to expand into the area. I have been in contact with a few of the locals already and some information has been posted elsewhere on Facebook. We are looking for 20-30 accounts to get started so far I’ve had about 6 people message me that they are willing to make the switch. We will be looking to stay close to city limit area to start out. If you are a Bicknell resident and looking for a new service we want to hear from you. For any information or questions you can contact us on this page anytime day or night. If there is enough interest we could possibly be ready to get to work the first week of March. Drop us a comment, send a message if we can get something rolling we would be willing to take this step.

Thursday routes, I think we are ready for you. Please if you are able make sure your tote is accessible for us it will really help us out a lot and speed things up a little bit more.

Monday -Wednesday routes have been completed to the best of our abilities. Before you call please consider
We have to think about getting in and out of where we are going.
Rear load routes totes are moved around by hand. If a tote was buried in 3+ feet of snow that can be very difficult and time consuming for us to get out.
We understand there will be some upset people, we don’t like it any more than you do. And we apologize for the inconvenience.
**Calling in to yell and be nasty is not going to bring a truck back to pick up your trash.

With that being said Monday -Wednesday customers if you were missed/skipped this week .
Keep your extra trash contained the best you can. Set it out for us and we will pick it up next week.
The other option I’m thinking of is opening our gates at our shop in Paxton for these missed customers for a free trash drop off on Friday afternoon. If there is enough interest in the comment section for something like that we would definitely be open to doing that as well.
Thank you all for your support and understanding. Next week may be a little rough still, but will hopefully be way better than this one.

Progress update
Monday and Tuesday routes are near completion. We are going to pick up a little more tomorrow morning(this includes lakeside west customers if possible) before starting on our Wednesday routes. Wednesday customers expect some delays.
Thursday route customers we will more than likely be running behind. Automated truck usually leaves the shop at 4 am we may bump that to 7am for this week to get down there with some daylight. We are shooting for regular Thursday pick up, but with the route being as big as it is we may end up having to come back Friday to finish. I will post an update on that as we get into it.

Trucks are going to be rolling out within the next hour.
We are going to be doing our best to work on Monday and Tuesday routes. We are going to be staying on the main roads as much as we can. Our main towns for Monday and Tuesday route are Carlisle and Shelburn. So we are going to be working our way through both. The best that we can. Please understand we are not going to be able to get to some private lanes and some rural areas. Those stops will more than likely have to be skipped this week there’s not much that we will be able to do about the road conditions. We are going to do all we can do for everyone this week.
Please be patient and show a little grace. Our divers are important and our trucks are very expensive. We will be keeping both as safe as we can.

Still waiting to see if the dump is going to be open for us or not. As of right now I’m thinking it’s better to have your totes and prepared for us just incase. If we do go out we will not be getting a very early jump on the day. Please be understanding as we make our way through this week. I can already tell you some are not going to get picked up. If you fall into that category please understand it is not worth risking employees and equipment. We will be doing the best we can and using our best judgment to ensure everything is safe and our trucks stay right side up on the road.
I will be making a post tomorrow morning with the plan of action so be on the lookout for that also.
