We have TWO work anniversaries to celebrate today! 🎉

Please join us in celebrating our Program Managers Layla Boehlein and Sophie Baker.

Layla joined our team in 2022 after graduating from Missouri State University. In addition to DSL, she serves on the St. Louis Attractions Association board. Layla says that her favorite thing about St. Louis is going to a concert or to a St. Louis Blues game! Over the years she has made a lot of memories, but her favorite DSL memories are when we're all working together as a team.

Sophie graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2022 and joined our team shortly after. Outside of DSL, she serves as the Director of Special Events on the MPI board. Sophie's favorite part of St. Louis is Forest Park and all of the activities inside. One of Sophie's favorite DSL memories is her first day of work when she started on the same day as Layla.

We are so grateful to have them both on our team. Thank you ladies for all your hard work! ❤

Rebecca is a St. Louis native and a proud Mizzou alum. Rebecca says her favorite thing about St. Louis is the strong sense of community and the pride that St. Louisans have for their city.

With a strong background in hospitality and a passion for hands-on work, Kristi supports our operations team by bringing events and logistics to life. Last week we celebrated two work anniversaries at DSL! 🎉

Cheers to Pam McGrath, our incredible Business and Operations Manager, who marked 31 years of dedication—overseeing staffing for all our programs and being the glue that keeps our office grounded, motivated, and running smoothly every day.

We also celebrated Taylor Springer’s 1-year anniversary and are happy to share that she was recently promoted to Sales and Event Manager! Taylor has been a tremendous help on our sales team with outstanding growth and enthusiasm that elevate our team and company.

We’re back from an incredible week in Costa Rica at the Association of Destination Management Executives Annual Conference — and feeling inspired, energized, and grateful for this amazing global community of destination professionals.

A few highlights from the week:

🌿 Costa Rica truly lives up to its reputation. It’s an absolutely beautiful country, and we were thrilled to have time to explore beyond the hotel. Highlights included a memorable coffee plantation tour and an unforgettable visit to an active volcano.

🌍 Exceptional learning opportunities. We gained valuable insights from Destination Management Companies across the globe, sharing best practices, trends, and ideas that continue to elevate our industry.

🤝 Quality time with our partners at the DMC Network, LLC. One of the biggest highlights: meaningful, quality time with our partners from the DMC Network. This group remains the best in the industry—locally rooted, globally aligned.

We’re grateful for the conversations, the education, and the friendships that make this industry so special.

Now… we’re already looking forward to next year in New Orleans!
