Disney Cruise Line is bringing some BIG Disney storytelling to its newest ship, the Disney Believe! I love how the character details tell a story before you even step onboard. 💫

🌊 MOANA WELCOMES YOU ABOARD

At the heart of the ship, the Grand Hall will feature a beautiful bronze statue of Moana, joined by her loyal companions, Pua and Hei Hei! 🌺

Inspired by Moana’s courage, curiosity, and determination to go beyond the reef, the Grand Hall will feature ocean-inspired colors, Polynesian-inspired design details, and a chandelier inspired by the movement of the ocean—with the heart of Te Fiti hidden inside! 💚

🧚‍♀️ TINKER BELL SPRINKLES ON THE PIXIE DUST

Look toward the bow, and you'll find Tinker Bell surrounded by beautiful golden filigree, with silhouettes of Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook, and other characters woven into the design.

Of course, a ship called the Believe needs a little faith, trust, and pixie dust!

🧸🚀 WOODY & BUZZ DO THINGS THEIR WAY

The stern gets a playful makeover with Woody and Buzz Lightyear helping create the ship's name using big yellow crayons!

Instead of the elegant lettering found on other Disney Cruise Line ships, these two are bringing the unmistakable block-style lettering of Toy Story. Honestly? I wouldn't expect anything less! 🤠

✨ My Fantasy Faire Take- I love that Disney is giving this ship its own personality. From Moana's connection to the ocean to Tinker Bell's pixie dust and Woody and Buzz's playful creativity, the design brings together different kinds of magic under one big theme: believing in yourself, your dreams, and what's possible.

The Disney Believe is scheduled to set sail in December 2027. 🚢

🎂A Little Fantasy Faire History 🎂

Today is my birthday, so I thought I'd share a little piece of my Disney story.

Long before I was helping families plan their Disney vacations, I was a Cast Member at Disneyland. 🏰

I was a Store Cast Member, and my specialty was hat writing. I hand-sewed guests' names onto Mickey Mouse ears.

Yes… by hand. 🧵

The photo below is me during my baby Disneyland days, and the second photo shows some of my actual handiwork when I was training.

It was a small job in the grand scheme of Disneyland, but I loved that I got to be part of something personal. A family could take home those ears with their names stitched into them and have a little piece of their Disney day that was uniquely theirs.

And looking back, I think that job taught me something that has stayed with me all these years:

The little details matter.

Because Disney memories aren't always about the biggest attraction or the most expensive experience. Sometimes it's the little things—the name sewn onto a pair of ears, a character interaction, a favorite snack, or a moment your family still talks about years later.

I eventually stopped being a Cast Member, but Disney never really left my story.

I became a mom. I kept taking my family to Disney. I kept making memories.

And eventually, all those years of loving Disney, learning Disney, experiencing Disney, and helping other people enjoy Disney led me to Fantasy Faire Travel. 🧚‍♀️✨

So on my birthday, I'm feeling pretty grateful for the winding path that brought me here. From sewing names onto Mickey ears to helping families plan their Disney vacations…

I guess I've been helping people make magical memories for a very long time. ❤️

And honestly, I can't think of a better birthday story to share.

Disney Believe, ✨the newest addition to the Wish Class! She is coming soon...

Still under construction, Disney Believe is expected to make her debut in late 2027 & will become ship 4 in the Wish Class. Disney has already given us a few things to get excited about! 👀

🌺 A Grand Hall inspired by Moana
The heart of the ship will draw inspiration from Motunui & the world of Moana.

✨ More Disney storytelling at sea
The Believe will continue the immersive design of the Wish Class, with spaces inspired by beloved Disney stories & characters.

🏝️ More to discover
Disney has announced that Encanto, Frozen, Snow White & The Little Mermaid will also inspire experiences aboard the ship.

I LOVE that Disney Believe gives us something to look forward to after we've just finished exploring the current fleet. I also think the name is pretty perfect. ❤️

🏰ON THIS DAY IN DISNEY HISTORY 🏰

October 1, 1971. The gates opened.

Magic Kingdom officially welcomed its first guests, and Walt Disney World began a new chapter in Disney history. But there's a bittersweet part of this story that always gets me…

Walt Disney never saw it. ❤️ Walt died on December 15, 1966—nearly five years before the Magic Kingdom opened.

He had dreamed of creating something in Florida that was much bigger than another theme park. The Florida Project was already underway, but it was his brother, Roy O. Disney, who carried that dream forward & made sure Walt's vision became a reality.

On that first day in 1971, guests entered a Magic Kingdom that looked very different from the park we know today.

Magic Kingdom opened to the public on October 1, but the formal dedication of Walt Disney World took place on October 25, 1971, when Roy O. Disney stood in front of Cinderella Castle & dedicated the resort to his brother.

And there's something incredibly fitting about that.

Walt dreamed it.
Roy finished it.
And generations of families have continued the story. ❤️

Every time you walk down Main Street, U.S.A., you're walking through a dream Walt Disney never got to see come true.
