We can only hope....
A site dedicated to educating the public on how trucks, rail, and maritime are all connected. "Together Our World Works" Trucks are everywhere and in everything, no matter what it is a truck played a part in its placement there, however, there is so much more to it then that!
With todays economy and super fast pace, it takes so much more then just trucks to keep the world moving on time and without delay. Trucks don't work without the railroad, the railroad doesn't work without trucks, and sea cargo doesn't work without trucks or the railroad and vise versa. We are all connected!!! It takes every bit of us working together everyday to keep gas at the pumps, food on the shelves, a roof over your head, and clothes on our back. We invite you to open your mind and see things for what they really are, look at things from a worldly view and not just a state, country, or province. We're not suggesting that anyone try to solve world problems or donate money to a less fortunate country, but simply open your eyes to the economics of things. See how goods are moved, where they come from, and how we "truly" operate. It is not just about trucking, the railroad, the aircraft, or cargo ships anymore. It is about us ALL, if one aspect fails we all fail, and it would bring a domino effect.
Mission: To educate and inform the general public as well as stress the importance of all industries such as trucking, rail, air, and sea transport. :) Trucks are an important part of daily life, we are the key to delivering the goods to market for you and your family to purchase, however, we're not the only key to keeping the world moving. Everything from trains, planes, and cargo ships play a huge role in our daily life! Take a look around and see how we are all connected and how "together our world works"!
We can only hope....

Tow truck driver's death highlights dangers of job
They came from all over the Capital Region and parts around the state for 51-year-old James Homkey whether they knew him or not. They went to Homkey's funeral because they know how dangerous it is working on the side of a highway.
Free piece of advice...listen carefully because this is gold.
Sometimes we all make mistakes, sometimes we need a wrecker to fix those mistakes. The other day I went to winch a trailer out of the ditch, it should have been a simple winch out but the driver made a choice to drop the trailer after he dropped the trailer tandem in the ditch.
His decision cost him twice what it would have if he had left his truck under the trailer.
****If you ever cut a turn too short and find yourself stuck in a ditch...NEVER and I mean NEVER...disconnect your trailer!!!****
Leaving your truck connected to your trailer will save yourself time and money when the wrecker gets there, it also keeps the situation much safer then if you disconnect from it.
Have a great day!

I feel bad for both parties involved in this. I hope that this brings awareness to everyone, it is impossible to see people directly in front of a square hood truck. Prayers to all involved.

How do you feel about this?
Just my opinion but the ones they are trying to get are the fellas hauling by the ton, years ago when I hauled by the ton if it fit, it shipped, end of story. Now days it's not worth the risk and hard wear on your equipment. They already do random roadside inspections, this virtual weigh station is about revenue from overweight trucks. Not that Arkansas cares about their roadways, driving through there is like driving down a washboard. They should put that money in their infrastructure.
Heads up, drivers.
The FMCSA has a page....wow. This should make it difficult for me not to tell them where to take their proposed ELD mandate.
