🇺🇸❤️ HAPPY LABOR DAY! 💙

Today is about more than the unofficial end of summer, cookouts and one last long weekend. ☀️🌭

It's a day to recognize the hardworking people who keep our communities, businesses and country moving every single day.

The early mornings.
The long shifts.
The small business owners who never really clock out. 😂

The teachers, healthcare workers, first responders, construction crews, hospitality workers, service professionals and SO many others who work hard to provide for their families and build the lives they're dreaming about. ❤️

And hopefully today, you get a chance to slow down and enjoy some of what all that hard work is FOR.

Spend time with your people.
Eat something good.
Sit by the pool.
Get out on the water.
Plan your next vacation. 😉✈️🚢
Because we work hard...
but we should make time to LIVE, too. ❤️🤍💙

🇯🇵🛂 SCENTS & SUITCASES: PASSPORT CHECK-IN! ✈️
Another stamp in the Scents & Suitcases passport! 💕🌏
This week we traveled all the way to...
🇯🇵 JAPAN!
And after spending the week exploring it, I think one thing is VERY clear...
Japan is NOT a one-city vacation. 😂
This week we explored...
🏙️ The energy and excitement of Tokyo
⛩️ Ancient temples, shrines and traditions
🌸 Japan's beautiful cherry blossoms
🚄 The incredible bullet train system
🍜 Food that could honestly be a vacation all by itself
🏔️ Gorgeous scenery and completely different regions to explore
✨ And how easy it can be to experience several sides of Japan in one trip
Meanwhile, The Scent Society by Lacey took us through Japan one fragrance at a time. 🌸✨
We started with the soft, floral Jammy Time 🌸💜...
Moved into the bright citrus and botanicals of Blue Grotto 🍊🌿...
And finished under the lights of Tokyo with Black Luna Night 🌙🌧️ and its jasmine, sandalwood and rain mist.
Basically, we managed to make Japan smell as good as it looks. 😂🇯🇵
But my biggest takeaway from this week?
Japan gives you SO many different experiences in one trip.
You can spend the morning surrounded by centuries of history...
Hop aboard one of the fastest trains in the world... 🚄
Eat your way through an entirely new city... 🍜
And end the night surrounded by the lights of Tokyo. 🌃
That's the kind of trip I LOVE.

☀️🌴 BYE, SUMMER. YOU WERE GOOD TO US. 💕
Another summer somehow came and went WAY too fast.
There were vacations. ✈️
Cruises. 🚢
Beach days. 🌊
Late nights.
Way too much food. 😂
New places.
New memories.
And plenty of moments I wish I could bottle up and keep forever.
Every year, summer reminds me just how quickly life moves.
The kids get a little older.
The vacations look a little different.
And somehow the calendar fills up before I even realize we're making memories we'll talk about years from now. ❤️
So I'm saying goodbye to summer with a very full heart...
But don't confuse that with me being done traveling. 😂✈️
Because FALL travel is calling. 🍂
Holiday trips are coming. 🎄
Cruise ships are still sailing. 🚢
And there are WAY too many places left on my list. 🌎
So...
Bye, summer. ☀️💕
Thanks for the sunshine, the adventures, the memories and the excuse to constantly have a suitcase sitting somewhere in my house. 😂

✨ TOP 10 AGAIN!! ✨

I opened this today and found my face sitting in the Top 10 for Newly Booked Sales for Team Adventure for August! 🥹💙

And every single time I see my name on one of these, I immediately think about all of YOU.

Every cruise I book. Every family vacation. Every honeymoon. Every “Christina, where should we go?” message. Every person who tags me when someone asks for a travel advisor. Every repeat client who comes back and says, “Okay, where are we going next?” 😂✈️

YOU are the reason I get to do this.

What started as something I genuinely loved has turned into a business that has grown more than I ever imagined, and somehow I get to spend my days helping people see the world. 🌎💕

August was BUSY, and apparently y'all were ready to GO SOMEWHERE. 😂

Thank you for trusting me with your vacations, your money, your PTO, your kids' first cruises, your anniversary trips, your bucket-list adventures and all those memories you haven't even made yet.

And a huge congratulations to the rest of Team Adventure's Top 10! 🥳

Now onto September because apparently we have more suitcases to pack. 🧳✈️🚢

💕✈️ If you've been thinking about working with a travel advisor but weren't really sure what to expect...

THIS is what I want you to know.

First and probably most important:

You do NOT have to have everything figured out before you message me. 😂

You don't need to know the exact resort.

You don't need to know which cruise line.

You don't need to understand the difference between 14 different balcony categories. 🚢

You don't even necessarily need to know exactly WHERE you want to go.

You can literally come to me with:
“We have $5,000, two kids, a week off in June, and we want somewhere with a beach. HELP.” 😂

That's enough to start a conversation.

A few other things I wish every first-time client knew:

✨ My job is to make this EASIER for you.

I'm not here to hand you another giant vacation-planning homework assignment. Tell me what matters to you, and I'll help sort through the noise.

💰 You can tell me your REAL budget.

Please do! 😂 It helps me tremendously. I'm not judging whether it's $2,000 or $20,000. I need to know what we're working with so I can recommend options that actually make sense.

🚢 Not every cruise ship, resort or room category is created equal.
That $100 cheaper cabin may be cheaper for a reason. 👀

Part of my job is knowing what questions to ask BEFORE we book so we're not discovering those details after you've paid.

❤️ You are never bothering me with questions.

“Do I need a passport?”

“What should I wear?”

“What's included?”

“Do I need travel insurance?”

“What time should I book my flight?”

“Why are there 47 different drink packages?!” 😂

ASK ME.

I'd much rather answer the question beforehand than have you stressed because you were afraid to ask.

📱 And yes, I'm still here after you book.

I don't disappear once your deposit is paid.

There's still check-in, final payment, documents, dining, excursions, flights, transfers and all those little details between WE BOOKED! 🎉 and WE'RE LEAVING! ✈️

One important thing to understand, especially for my cruise clients: once you're onboard, the cruise line's onboard team handles issues happening on the ship.
But I'll make sure you know what to expect before you sail and who to go to if something comes up.

Ultimately, you don't need to become a travel expert just because you want to take a great vacation.

That's literally what I'm here for. 💕

MSC rewards their loyal guests with an amazing event every cruise.
We had the Diamond/Blue Diamond Event which is always excellent. It reinforces how much I love MSC and my loyalty to the brand.
They always have talent that is exclusive to the event and Fantastic snacks and drinks.

On a quick 3 night sailing on MSC Cruises on the MSC Seashore. Flew to Florida yesterday and boarded. I love the Seashore. Was in Nassau today and Ocean Cay tomorrow.

We enjoyed dinner at The Butcher's Cut last night. I had the Caesar salad(they have the BEST garlic croutons), Wagyu Sirlion with baked potato. Gracie had the Wagyu Sliders and fries and Benjamin had the fries. Dessert was the lava cake that we all shared. Dinner was exceptional, as always. The Butcher's Cut knows what the assignment is.

Today was Nassau and we ventured out to McDonald's. You know I am classy like that. Fun Fact: we come to Nassau at least 4 times a year (sometimes more) and always walk to McDonald's. In fact, we try McDonald's everywhere we travel. (In Canada and Alaska too!)

Today we decided to venture to The Queen's Staircase. It was very nice to see but the heat was brutal today. So we got back on board and enjoyed the beauty of The Seashore.

Tonight we will be watching the show and playing bingo and soaking it all up.
