People often think being a travel advisor means spending all day looking at cruise ships and dreaming about vacations.

And yes... there's a little bit of that. 😄

But a real work day is usually a mix of researching itineraries, answering client questions, tracking payments, solving unexpected problems, staying up to date on industry changes, and making sure every little detail is exactly where it needs to be.

Some days I'm helping a family choose the perfect cruise. Some days I'm tracking down a cabin upgrade. Some days I'm helping clients navigate travel disruptions. And some days I'm doing all of those things before lunch.

It's busy. It's unpredictable. And sometimes it's downright chaotic.

But I get to help people create memories with the people they love most.

I get to be part of honeymoons, family reunions, bucket-list adventures, birthday celebrations, and first cruises.

That's what makes every busy day worth it. ❤️

I truly love what I do.

And honestly? I wouldn't trade the chaos for anything. ✈️🚢🌎

One of the most expensive mistakes I see cruisers make has nothing to do with the cruise itself.

It's flying in the day the ship sails. ✈️🚢

I know it's tempting. It can save a hotel night and sometimes looks cheaper on paper.

Until a flight is delayed. A connection is missed. Weather rolls in. Or your luggage decides to take a different vacation.

Cruise ships operate on strict schedules and they will not wait for late passengers.

If you miss embarkation, your vacation suddenly becomes a race to catch the ship at the next port, often at your own expense.

That's why I recommend arriving at least one day before your cruise whenever possible.

And if your plans do fall apart?

Happy National Road Trip Day! 🚗✨

There is something special about a road trip.

No airport security lines. No boarding groups. No rush.

Just good music, great company, unexpected roadside stops, and the freedom to pull over whenever something catches your eye.

Some of my favorite trips aren't the ones where I flew the farthest. They're the ones where the journey was just as memorable as the destination.

From the dramatic cliffs of the Pacific Coast Highway to the crystal blue waters of the Florida Keys, these are the kinds of drives that remind you to slow down and enjoy the ride.

So now I have to know...

A lot of people think a travel advisor just books the cruise.

The reality? Booking the cruise is the easiest part.

What you're really getting is someone who helps you choose the right ship, the right itinerary, the right cabin, and the right time to travel based on your family's needs and budget.

You're getting someone who knows which promotions are actually good deals and which ones just sound good.

One of the things I love most about Disney Cruise Line is that the character experiences aren't just quick photo opportunities. They're woven into the entire vacation.

You might see Donald greeting guests in the Grand Hall, dressed in a special cruise outfit, dancing at a deck party, or making surprise appearances throughout the ship.

Unlike the parks, where you're often rushing from attraction to attraction, a Disney cruise gives families the chance to slow down and truly enjoy those magical moments. Characters are more accessible, lines are often shorter, and the interactions feel incredibly personal.

But that's just part of what makes Disney Cruise Line special.
