Don't bring your kid to Wings and Wheels, unless they like...
▪ Aerobatics: Which is a fancy word for tricks. They’ll see aircraft turn upside down, roll, dive, and more!
▪ Explosions: Or pyrotechnics, technically. Pyrotechnically. Anyway, fire, smoke somehow make the show so much cooler.
▪ Candy: Dropped in parachutes to honor Gail Halvorsen, the “Candy Bomber.” Tell them to look for the “wiggly wings!”
▪ Old Planes: Like ones that flew in World War II. They might even be able to climb inside and see the cockpit!
▪ Fast Cars: Ripping through a course in a competition called “autocross.” It’s kind of like Hot Wheels Let’s Race! but real.
