Consider this your official reminder to channel your inner Jedi… or Sith. 😄

Quick question for the comments:
✨ Light Side or Dark Side?

And if you could plan your own Star Wars-inspired adventure, what would it be?
• A theme park day with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge vibes
• A cruise-style getaway through the galaxy
• Or a completely off-the-grid escape where no one can reach you

If a Disney trip is on your list, I’m always here to help you explore options when the timing feels right.

Let’s play a quick travel game!

If your next trip matched your current mood… where would you be going?

Pick one from the graphic or make up your own answer. I always love hearing the creative ones.

I’ll go first: Cruise.

Your turn!

Accessible Travel

Accessible travel should feel empowering, not overwhelming.

Before you book, here are three questions I always recommend asking:

1️⃣ What is truly accessible and what is not?
Think room layout, bathroom configuration, step-free access, elevators, pool lifts, and overall terrain.

2️⃣ How are we getting from point A to point B?
Airport transfers, ground transportation, excursions, tender ports, and walking distances can make or break the experience.

3️⃣ Who can confirm accommodations in writing?
Make sure accessibility requests are documented on the reservation and expectations are clearly outlined before arrival.

The details matter. Clarity reduces stress.

If you share which accessibility features are most important to you, I can help narrow down options that genuinely fit your needs.

The “screenshot pack” I swear by before every trip 📱

If you’ve ever landed somewhere with zero Wi-Fi, spotty service, or an airport app that won’t load… you know why this matters. I learned this the hard way once while juggling kids, carry-ons, and a boarding time that was getting closer by the minute. Now I do this every single time.

Before you leave, screenshot or save offline:

✅ Flight details (confirmation + record locator)
✅ Hotel or resort confirmation with address + check-in info
✅ Transportation details (transfers, shuttles, pickup instructions)
✅ Boarding passes when available
✅ Passport photo page + IDs (stored securely)
✅ Travel insurance info + emergency numbers
✅ Dining, tour, and ticket reservations
✅ A map of the area with saved pins
✅ Important contacts (hotel, airline, tour company, your advisor 😉)
✅ Any special check-in codes or entry instructions

Pro tip: create a photo folder labeled TRIP so everything is in one easy place.

It takes five minutes before you leave — and saves a lot of stress when you’re on the move.

If you’re the “planner friend,” you already know how it goes.

One group trip somehow turns into 12 people, multiple budgets, strong opinions, and at least one person who says they’re coming… but hasn’t committed.

I’ve been that person. The one in the group chat trying to make it all make sense. And it’s exactly why I love helping with group travel now.

Here’s what I take off your plate:
• A clear plan and timeline so no one is confused
• Options that work across different budgets
• Payment deadlines and reminders
• Room assignments and all the “who’s staying with who” details
• Organization when plans inevitably shift

You still get the best part — the trip, the memories, the fun.
I handle the moving pieces behind the scenes.

Valentine’s Day falls on Sunday of Presidents Day weekend next year.

A built-in long weekend.

What better time for a romantic getaway… or even a family trip with a built-in date night?

There’s no such thing as the “best” romantic destination.
Only the best fit for your relationship.

Some couples want:
• Spa mornings + slow coffee
• Adventure + beach naps
• Incredible food + a show
• A cruise where everything is handled

And if you have kids? Romance doesn’t disappear.

I have a family looking at Beaches Resorts in Turks and Caicos for that weekend.

Perk? The kids club is included — so they can enjoy a romantic dinner for two on the beach while the kids are happily occupied.

Which vibe fits you right now?

• Adults-only all-inclusive
• Romantic cruise
• Bucket-list Europe
• Family trip with built-in date night

Presidents Day weekend won’t stay open forever.

If this is your sign… let’s plan it. 💛

When a trip feels rushed or underwhelming, it’s rarely about the destination.
More often, it comes down to the pace.

An action-packed itinerary, a true reset, and a memory-filled family vacation all move at very different speeds. When the rhythm of the trip doesn’t match how you actually want to feel, even the most beautiful place can fall flat.

This time of year is ideal for planning with intention. Instead of starting with dates and logistics, I encourage clients to start with how they want the trip to feel. What do you want to come home with? Rest? Connection? New experiences? What pace fits your current season of life?

That one shift in planning can change everything.

Before jumping into booking or even asking for pricing, it helps to pause and think through a few basics ✍️

Not to make things more complicated, but to be sure the options you’re shown actually align with your trip, your comfort level, and what you’re hoping to get out of the experience.

A few things to consider:
Who will be traveling with you?
How firm are your dates, or is there flexibility?
What budget range feels realistic for this trip?
Do you have a destination in mind, or are you open to suggestions?
Are there any non-negotiables or preferences that matter most?

When I have clarity on these details, I can narrow options faster, suggest better-fitting trips, and help prevent surprises down the road. The best travel experiences usually start with asking the right ques

Planning travel today can feel overwhelming. There are endless options, opinions, and ads telling you what you should book.

For me, being a travel advisor isn’t about taking decisions away from you. It’s about being in your corner. Helping filter through the noise. Thinking ahead. Making sure the choices we make actually fit your trip, your family, and your priorities.

This work supports my family. It allows me to show up for my kids while helping other families create meaningful time together. Every trip I plan is personal, because I know how valuable that time away is and how much goes into making it work.

When you work with me, you’re not just getting a booking. You’re getting experience, advocacy, and someone who’s already thinking through the details before they become stress points so you can focus on the part that matters most: enjoying the journey.

And yes, the cost of using a travel advisor is already built into your vacation whether you use one or not. You might as well have someone guiding you every step of the way.

If you’ve been thinking about a trip, thank you for considering supporting my small business and my family in the process.
