A new mRNA cancer vaccine wiped out tumors in mice and may offer a path toward a universal treatment.

We are all volunteers who continue to transport patients to their treatment and continue to give grants and work to raise the money to do these things. BUT, we also continue to have issues with the phone not getting reception, so PLEASE CALL Sharon at 530-307-3431 for any general questions about the Cancer League or inquiries about grants. To be clear, grants are given only as long as you are under ACTIVE treatment, i.e. chemo infusion or radiation. For transportation, please PM JoAnn on this page. We have been shut down by snow and power outages! The Tahoe Keys Deli has agreed to take what we have left and sell it for us, so if you are still seeking See's or a way to support the Cancer League, please stop by to purchase some candy and please tell them thank you for the help! Thank you to all who support us so we can help local cancer patients!

Last day before Christmas See's Candy Sale! Stop by the American Legion Post 795 on Hwy 50 until 4:30 today, December 22nd! Thank you for supporting the Cancer League! We are all volunteers and all of the money we raise goes to help LOCAL cancer patients!

The Cancer League See's Candy Sale is open for business at the American Legion Hall on Hwy 50! We will be open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, December 20, 21, & 22nd, from 10 am to FIVE pm. We still have candy for those last minute or hostess gifts, quick party enhancement, or holiday treats! We are all volunteers and all the money we raise goes to help LOCAL cancer patients!

Whoo hoo! We will be open Saturday and Sunday, December 18th and 19th, from 10 am to 6 pm at the American Legion Post on Hwy 50! Come by and pick up some See's candy and support the Cancer League! We are all volunteers and all the fund raising we do goes to help LOCAL cancer patients! Thank you for your support!
