Couldn't get a good shot of the Aurora Borealis this time around but here are some shots of the Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS C/2023 A3 making its closest pass to Earth in 80,000 years from Lakeside Beach this past Sunday night! The final image appears to have also captured what we believe might be a shooting or exploding star 🌠

Fall is our favorite time of year here in Lake Tahoe. It's also when the bright red Kokanee Salmon swim up Taylor Creek (~20 mins drive from Tahoe Sanctuary) to spawn and the bears 🐻 come out to feast on them!  This bear close encounter was captured at Taylor Creek last October.
