A temporary injury shouldn’t stop someone from working, attending school, or caring for their family. Yet for many across the Charleston area, access to something as simple as crutches can become an unexpected challenge

South Carolina drivers — March 9 – 13, 2026 is your chance to take a step toward getting back on the road legally with Driver Suspension Eligibility Week!

During this statewide week, the SCDMV will accept Driver Suspension Eligibility Applications (DL-601A) from drivers with qualifying suspended licenses who have already met all conditions (court requirements, fines/fees paid, SR-22 insurance filed if required).

Here’s what to remember:

✔️ Visit an SCDMV branch between March 9 – 13, 2026
✔️ Bring your completed application & required docs
✔️ All fines, fees, and requirements must be satisfied before applying
✔️ Some suspensions still require knowledge/road tests

📍 This doesn’t waive fines — it gives eligible drivers a window to reduce or clear eligible suspensions if they’ve done what’s needed.

Tag someone who needs this. 🚗
