2026 day of honor put on by Salmon for Soldiers was an event I have wanted to support as a Captian for many years. This Saturday I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to give back to our veterans. Koi Higa was rock solid as usual as my deckhand, and the Vets did awesome out there in the big water. Brianna Bruce had a group as well and we both headed west for the halibut grounds. Good weather and better company, it was a day for the books to say the least.
