As my friend has stated before - you know “that feeling where you find yourself saying something intensely hyperbolic like ‘The Future of The Planet is on the Ballot This Fall’ and still feel like you’re understating the case?”
So many of you ask me how you can get involved and what you can do to help with the upcoming election - and while there are many great ways to jump in (we each MUST do something!) writing letters to Americans who are registered to vote but have NOT exercised their right in the last election(s) is a great option! These are personal letters that encourage them to vote and remind them of what’s at stake in the upcoming election.
Last weekend I wrote 40 letters to individuals throughout Texas and this weekend I’m working on letters to people with Florida. There are hundreds of us doing this weekly (and as a byproduct, we are supporting the post office, too!).
