May-cember is upon us and no one has time to cook! Next week is doing Sequoia families a solid by hosting a WEEK LONG dine and donate! Let Homeslice take care of the cooking so you can enjoy the last days of the school year. The dine and donate starts Monday June 1 and goes through Friday June 5. Mention Sequoia Elementary for dine in and take out orders. Homeslice will generously give a portion of the cost of all orders mentioning “Sequoia” back to the school. Make your last week of school easier, support our school, and support a local Sequoia family business in the process. It’s a win, win, win to close out a great school year!

Last week the Sequoia Parents Club and the Sequoia teachers had the pleasure of welcoming our new Whited students and teachers. Mrs. Sullivan and Mrs. Borell put together an awesome scavenger hunt for the Whited students so they could familiarize themselves with the Sequoia campus. We hope that some anxiety was relieved and connections were made. Meeting all the wonderful Whited families and teachers have us excited and looking forward to the changes this next year will bring. 💙🤍💚

Last week our Sequoia Giants were amazed by the two wheeling acrobatics of the “Go Big BMX Airshow”! As you can tell by the screams of delight, this Sequoia Parents Club funded assembly was a high flying hit!

We closed out teacher and staff appreciation week with TACO FRIDAY! An amazing lunch from Las Palmas at Sequoia Elementary and we are showing up for our incredible teachers and staff! 🌮🎉 You nourish our kids’ minds every single day — the least we could do is bring the guac. 🥑💛 Thank you for your endless patience, creativity, and heart. We are SO lucky to have you. ¡Gracias por todo!
