From blue-and-white mosaic tiles inspired by the Pacific to polished terrazzo floors and touchless fixtures, the details make a difference.

Bonjour, Paris!

Starting May 3, 2027, Air France will fly nonstop from San Diego to Paris-Charles de Gaulle three times a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Travelers can soon fly from sunny San Diego to the City of Light, with an easier way to experience the Eiffel Tower, explore the Louvre, enjoy a croissant at a sidewalk café, and discover everything Paris has to offer. 🥐🗼✨

And this isn’t just exciting news for travelers. A nonstop connection between San Diego and Paris also brings two vibrant global cities closer together, creating more opportunities for business, tourism, and cultural exchange.

We’re adding another nonstop destination to the map! Southwest Airlines is launching new Sunday-only nonstop service between SAN and Oklahoma City (OKC) beginning June 3, 2027.

Ready to trade palm trees for the prairie?

With this addition, Oklahoma City will become Southwest’s 48th destination from SAN and SAN’s 89th nonstop destination overall.

What a welcome home!

The San Diego community came together at SAN to celebrate 90 WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans returning from a special trip to Washington, D.C., organized by Honor Flight San Diego.

For years, the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority has been honored to support and participate in this tradition. After visiting the memorials dedicated to their service and sacrifice, the veterans returned home to a terminal filled with family, friends, volunteers, flags, signs, cheers, and hometown pride.

It was a beautiful reminder of what happens when a community comes together to honor those who served.

To all 90 veterans: welcome home.

Help us welcome our hometown heroes back to San Diego!

Join SAN and Honor Flight San Diego for this special biannual tradition as WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans return home on Sunday, Sept. 27.

The veterans will be coming home after spending time in Washington, D.C., visiting the memorials dedicated to their service and sacrifice, and now it’s time to give them a proper San Diego welcome.

Meet us at T2 Baggage Claim; signs, flags, and smiles are encouraged.

Aviation careers are everywhere at SAN.

Along with Alaska Airlines, we recently welcomed San Diego State University students for a behind-the-scenes look at the people and possibilities that keep our airport and the aviation industry moving.

It was a great opportunity to connect students with the industry and give them a glimpse of where an aviation career could take them.

The next generation is already taking off!

SAN's Terminal 1 is officially one!

One year ago, the first phase of our new Terminal 1 opened its doors, creating more space to move, more places to relax, and more ways to enjoy a little taste of San Diego before takeoff.

Keeping San Diego clean takes all of us!

This past weekend, SAN staff, friends, and family joined I Love A Clean San Diego for Coastal Cleanup Day at Port Park in Barrio Logan. Together with volunteers from across the county, we spent the morning picking up litter and helping care for our coastline.

It was a great way to give back to the community we call home. Thanks to I Love A Clean San Diego for bringing people together to make a difference!
