Last month marked a heartbreaking loss of four giants in the animal world—the San Diego Zoo bid farewell to its beloved giraffe, polar bear, and gorilla, while the Georgia Aquarium mourned the passing of its awe-inspiring whale shark, leaving an irreplaceable void in conservation and in the hearts of those who cherished them.

Is hard to let nature run it’s course.
An anemone had caught my eye because it was laying on the sandy bottom I came close to it and tried to get a good shot, I noticed a tiny red head sticking out of the center... and oh my! Lots of people had told me that sea hares have almost no predators because they secrete a bitter purple ink like chemical deterrent. Today we can add Tube Dwelling Anemones to the list of California Sea Hare predators... I guess they can’t taste so they are probably immune to their ink.
