What’s up Wednesday.
•
Our dryer needed a new fan and motor. We needed to do laundry.
•
So off to the laundromat we go!
•
Kash has never had the joy of the laundromat. Until this day!
•
Choices were small loads at home and hang them all to dry. Grab the soap and take a drive.
•
He got to experience other people doing laundry. Fear mongering news clips. Soap operas! I honestly didn’t know there were still any on the air!
•
It was quite the experience! Although all of his laundry was complete in 2 hours the lessons learned were:
-I can spend my whole life at the laundromat or I can make sure I have a washer and dryer at home.
-Doing laundry every day or two at home is a better option.
•
Laundromat lesson complete!

We have not since we still have some birthday balloons up. But next week it will be a fall transformation at our house. I did see these cuties and I thought what an amazing idea. I love keeping pumpkins in my yard until December. I would actually keep them forever if I could!

And I thought these were such a cute option for a jack-o’-lantern dupe. A six-year-old made these, so I know anyone can do it!

Come Halloween night you just pop a glow stick inside and you are good to go!

What’s up Wednesday…

This weeks edition is really WHAT IS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY!
•
I now have a 16 year old.
•
I swear that little dude was just in the spa pushing his t***y out for me to give it a little rub.
•
Our birth story took a hard left and didn’t go the hypno water birth plan, so I was actually not awake when he exited the spa… but it seems not so long ago that as I woke up I heard his sweet sounds and said: bring him to me.
•
His toddler ways of only speaking in complete, full sentences. His random proclamation in the car one day that he wanted to play baseball. His joy riding his first motorcycle where you could hear him yell out in excitement. His work ethic. Sweet soul. Educational ease and expectation. Friendship. Love of animals. Emotional communication at pivotal life moments. Everything a son is!
•
Somehow we quickly got here. It’s fun. This is a fun time and even though I’m a little trippin… I’m so excited for you and this phase of life Kash anderson
•
You are the most fun and I’m so glad you are the soul I get to be the momma to! Extenda birthday was lots of fun! We can probably use another nap. And the house repairs after the weekend can wait until Saturday.
•
So if y’all see me in the wild and I have a look of bewilderment…you know why! My little hand holding, hug around my neck shadow has somehow turned into this sweet boy who is bigger, stronger, faster, looks like a grown young man, and now when we hug my head goes into his neck!
•
So yeah, I’ll just be walking around trippin with gratitude!

Happy Birthday to my favorite person.

The one who made me a momma. The one I think is just the best thing ever. The one I love all the way.

Birthday hangout weekend yielded 3 nights of sleepovers. Homecoming game. Park sesh. Beach day. Homecoming dance. After party. More hangout. Youth group. Bean bag wrestling. And a hole in the ceiling.

What else would happen at 16!

Sleepy 16 and almost 16 are still snoozing away. Then it’s off to the chiropractor, hopping into school work and topping this day off with family dinner.

So glad he is the one that came to take this journey with me. Happy Birthday Kash!!!
