This San Antonio Water System project begins today.⬇️

From San Antonio Water System:

⚠️ East Hildebrand Closure Between McCullough & Devine
Beginning Oct. 26, 2026, a section of Hildebrand Ave. will be CLOSED for a major water main replacement project. The work is expected to be completed in March 2027. Please plan for alternate routes if you typically use Hildebrand between McCullough Ave. and Devine Road. (See map below for detour information.)

The project will replace 4,600 feet of aging water mains to ensure future reliability of water service for our customers

🚧OVERNIGHT CLOSURE: Evans Road, between Roan Park & Terrace Pass will be fully closed beginning 9pm tonight, Friday, Oct. 23, through 5am Saturday, Oct. 24. This temporary closure is for underground work to widen the existing drainage infrastructure.

The Evans Road 2022 Bond Project will improve drainage as well as adding wider sidewalks and roadway improvements. For more info, visit SASpeakUp.com/EvansRd

🚧Thurs., 10/22, two sections of N. Main near Legacy Park will be temporarily closed for the Downtown Together: The Great Street Takeover event.

⚠️N. Main between Houston & Travis and between Travis & Pecan will remain closed from 8:00 am to midnight.
🚗Houston and Pecan will remain open to traffic and pedestrians.🚶🏿 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶‍♂️

🏓 New Pickleball Courts at Northeast Senior Center!

Capital Delivery Department celebrated the ribbon cutting for two new covered pickleball courts at the Northeast Senior Center in District 10! 🎉

This $850,000 Capital Delivery project was funded through District 10 infrastructure funds and includes walking trails, shaded seating areas, a water fountain, landscaping, and lighting.

These improvements create a welcoming space for seniors to stay active, socialize, and enjoy some friendly competition!

👏 Thank you to our partners at the City of San Antonio Department of Human Services and everyone who helped bring this project to life!

🚧 Capital Delivery Project Update | Culebra Park Area Streets

Starting as early as Monday, Oct. 19, construction will shift to the opposite side of Laven Drive and Pettus Street.

🚗 Laven Drive: The east side will close between Culebra Road and Pettus Street. Traffic will continue one-way northbound.

🚗 Pettus Street: The south side will close between Laven Drive and Brendell Street. Traffic will continue one-way eastbound.

➡️ Detours will use Culebra Road, El Centro Street and San Benito Drive.
✅ All lanes on Culebra Road will remain open.

🚧 Capital Delivery Project Update | Braun Road

Heads up, drivers! Road resurfacing is scheduled on Braun Road between Finesilver Ranch and Tezel Road, Oct. 19–21.

⚠️ Traffic shifts and alternating lane closures. Two-way traffic will remain open, with one lane in each direction.

👷 Flaggers and officers will help direct traffic near the Finesilver Ranch subdivision entrance and exit.

Please slow down and use caution through the work zone.
