The 2026 plum tree harvest is completed. What a bounty! Twelve jars of red plums jelly. Thirteen jars of red plum jam. Thirteen jars of Serrano/plum jam (don’t tell Calvin I got into his Serrano peppers).

WOW! Just can’t keep these homemade bug sprays on the shelf now; especially with all the rain we have recently had. I use witch hazel as a base so it is better, more soothing and cooling to your skin. I also add a touch of rose hip oil (hence the orange tint) and aloe vera to help the spray cling a bit longer without being sticky like the petroleum based sprays. Shake them well, like a delicious salad dressing, and spray on. They include the best essential oils to help repel irritating bugs. Message me for order and shipping.

Whipping up a summertime batch of skin salve. I’m just about out and I had several requests this batch has your favorite Shea butter and tallow but I added comfrey oil and dandelion oil that I sourced here on my own ranch.

Of course you know Shea butter and tallow deeply moisturizes the skin, strengthens the natural protective barrier, and soothes irritation.
But you might not be as familiar with the benefits of Comfrey oil and Dandelion oil.

Comfrey helps reduce inflammation, soothe muscle and joint pain, and accelerate the healing of minor bruises, sprains, and abrasions. And Dandelion helps to soothe sore muscles, deeply moisturize dry and chapped skin, and provide natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant relief for minor aches and irritations. With my summer skin, I find both of these additions to be really advantageous. Not to mention how soothing the salve is to use.

The essential oil fragrance is chamomile. Heavenly!!! Message me for details.

Looking for a fabulous detoxifiying goat milk soap? Have you tried my pine tar soap? If you have, I know you are already a fan! The goat milk is soothing and moisturizing, I add pumice and freshly ground oatmeal as an exfoliat, and charcoal as an extra detoxifying ingredient in addition to the pine tar. The frangrances are amazing, too. You can’t go wrong with these soaps. Once you try them, you will be hooked.
