What do you think about my sewing room decor idea?

Should I go up to the next size embroidery hoop for this appliqué piece?

Shoutout to Persil Laundry soap for putting in the real work here!

This quilt was washing clean with just dawn dish soap and water. But so many if you mentioned enzyme detergent and I thought okay why not try it.

Oh 👏🏻 my 👏🏻 lordy 👏🏻

The amount of dirt, ick, and overall grubbiness that came out when I thought it was clean about gave me a heart attack 😱

If you’re cleaning up vintage quilts - this needs to be in your arsenal.

On to the next!

So… anyone up for an adventure?

STOP BEING DUPED!

Here’s my top 3 ways to tell a commercially produced Arch Quilt from an authentic handmade quilt.

What else do you look for in authenticity? I’d love to know!

Not gonna name names butttt…

There are some “memory blanket” companies out there who claim to do the same as what I do.

No batting
No topstitching
No binding
Cheap price

I’m sure some customers are happy with it at the end of the day and I will never tell anyone what to do but - you get what you pay for 💁🏼‍♀️

and that’s all I have to say about that
