Meet Tampa Bay’s Ingrid Harb, founder of Women Ambassadors Forum ✨ Growing up in Mexico, Ingrid had to break through the cultural stigma that says a woman should only be a good mother and a better wife. 🇲🇽👩👶
While she was in college at Trinity University in 2015, Ingrid founded the Women Ambassadors Forum to create a platform for women around the world to find a community and a voice for themselves. What started off with women attendees from just two countries, now has over 80 countries represented at its annual global conferences. From United Nations advocates to grassroots activists, WAF is a collective of inspiring women from every corner of the world. 🧕🏽👩🏿‍⚖️👩🏻‍🌾👩🏾‍🎓👩🏼‍💻
Ingrid relocated WAF to in 2018 when she was realized that this area is filled with ambitious women leaders who are changing their communities for the better. WAF will be hosting its first Tampa Bay conference in less than a week on January 22nd at CAVU in partnership with Synapse. 📆

Jenny Miller & Katelyn Grady are the founders of The Body Electric Yoga Company, a -based yoga studio that offers over 60 classes. 🤸‍♀️ The Body Electric Yoga Company also hosts off-site classes, like Yoga on Tampa at Green Bench Brewing Co. / 3 Daughters Brewingg / URBAN Comfort, Yoga Poolside at the Hollander Hotel Downtown St Petersburgl on Saturday mornings, and Paddleboard Yoga on the weekends by Park. 📆
“Our goal is to present an open, welcoming, and un-intimidating atmosphere for everyone, whether they be longtime yogis or beginners. We believe in the motto ‘keep yoga weird,’ and encourage folks to leave any pretense and worries at the door.” 🌟
Jenny and Katelyn have been practicing, studying, and teaching yoga in the ‘burg for over ten years. About 6 years ago, they got the idea to open their own studio, where they'd be free to implement their welcoming approach to yoga. They each believe that yoga can be for everyone, and people should be able to feel that whenever they walk into the studio. ☺️
After a lot of sweat and help from a small group of family and friends, they beautified their current location from an old ice factory into a gorgeous studio, welcoming everyone to their first ever class in March 2013.
