Did you know our journal has an infusion/injection calendar? 📅

If you’re on a biologic medication like Humira or Remicade, it can be challenging remembering your medication schedule. Use this calendar to circle the days you have an infusion or injection for your entire year!

✏️ Don’t forget to use a pencil just in case your medication frequency changes so you can easily edit the days.

1. I think I have IBS, so I totally know what you’re going through.
2. Have you ever tried eating vegan?
3. My sister’s friend’s cousin has Crohn’s and she totally cured it through diet. (**Can’t answer any follow up questions about said person’s medical treatment)
4. Have you tried turmeric?
5. You feel tired today? Omg me, too.

Comment below if you have anything to add! 👇🏼 If you don’t have IBD, buy you have a question about any of the above comments and why they trigger IBD patients, please ask! We want to spread awareness the best we can.

In all seriousness, this comment is the #1 complaint we hear from IBD patients when it comes to dealing with coworkers, bosses, family members, and friends.

If you’re an IBD patient, hang in there. There’s a whole community working hard everyday to raise awareness about these conditions. Don’t be afraid to be vocal (in a kind way) when someone dismisses your symptoms, either. Maybe share an article with them related to life with IBD, or invite them to follow a social media page that explains the struggle.

And if you know someone with IBD, educate yourself on what they are going through and be mindful of what you say to them. Your words matter to them. 💜
