🇮🇹✈️ Everyone welcome Lea to the TAU family!

Lea is our newest intern and a student at Flagler College studying Hospitality & Tourism. She’s excited to get some real, hands-on experience and learn how this crazy travel industry actually works. 😂

And we’re not wasting any time!

Her first project is helping us put together our October 2027 Girls Trip to Italy 🇮🇹🍷🍝 because what better way to learn than jumping right in?!

Going through my travel wallet this morning and apparently I’m carrying around a tiny international bank. 😂🌎✈️

Pesos 🇲🇽, pounds sterling 🇬🇧, Icelandic króna 🇮🇸, euros 🇪🇺… and who knows what else is tucked away in there.

So what do I do with it?

KEEP IT. ❤️

Of course I’ll be back to these places, so it’ll eventually get spent. But honestly, I love keeping currency from all over the world. Every bill and coin reminds me of somewhere I’ve been, something I’ve experienced, and a story I can share.

And someday, how amazing will it be to pull all of this out with my kiddos and grandkiddos and say, “This one came from Mexico… this one from Iceland… and THIS one has a story.” 🥰

Travel gives you a lot more than pictures on your phone. Sometimes the smallest souvenirs end up holding the biggest memories.

Now I’m curious… do you keep your leftover foreign currency too, or do you exchange it back? 🌎💰
