📢 Attention ZipPass users!
SacRT has extended the date you can continue using passes in the ZipPass app.
New last day to use ZipPass in now Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
Make the switch early to the new Transit Connect app for faster boarding, account protection.
More features are coming in Phase 2, including the transition for Connect Card users to an app or new smart card.

Great news! 🎉
New RydeFreeRT cards for the 2026–2027 school year are now available. Students and youth in grades TK–12 can ride SacRT buses and light rail fare-free through June 30, 2027.
Last night, the SacRT Board took action to continue the program for another year and authorized steps to secure long‑term funding.
Pick up your new card at your school, SacRT’s Customer Service & Sales Center, or participating Sacramento County libraries.

From June 12–14, stations between Watt/I‑80 and Swanston will be closed. Shuttle buses will replace train service. Riders should plan extra travel time.
Note: No bus service at Watt/I-80 West.

Meetings are open to the public and held at 1102 Q Street, 4th Floor Suite 4600.

To ride transit to the meeting:

📆June 12–14: Bus bridge in place between Watt/I‑80 and Swanston stations
📆June 17–20: Bus bridge in place between 47th Ave and CRC stations
