🚉 A NEW STATION IS ALMOST READY! 🎉
Today, SacRT celebrated the ribbon cutting of Dos Rios Station with elected officials, funding partners and community partners who helped make this important project a reality.

The ribbon cutting marks the completion of construction on the new station, bringing us one step closer to welcoming riders. We’re now awaiting final approval to open Dos Rios Station to the public very soon! 🚈

Thank you to everyone who helped bring this new connection to life. We can’t wait for you to ride with us!

The next meeting of the SacRT Mobility Advisory Council (MAC) will be Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Meetings are held via Zoom and in the SacRT auditorium at 1102 Q Street in suite 4000.

Topics will include:

Blue Line Service Disruption: Sept 11–30
Blue Line service will be temporarily suspended between City College and Meadowview Station from September 11–30 due to construction work at 47th Avenue and Fruitridge stations.
A bus bridge will be in place between the affected stations, now extended to Meadowview due to power restrictions in the construction zone.
Regular service resumes Thursday, October 1.

A decade ago crime was a major problem. SacRT quickly addressed it. Crime incidents are now down to just 2.7 incidents per million trips, one of the lowest rates in the transit industry. By comparision, our peer agencies experience 12 to 61 incidents per million trips.

🚨 PLAN AHEAD: BLUE LINE SERVICE CHANGE COMING SEPT. 11
Starting Friday, September 11, Blue Line light rail service will be temporarily suspended between City College Station and Florin Station through Wednesday, September 30.

🚍 A bus bridge will operate between City College and Florin, with stops at:
• City College
• 47th Avenue
• Fruitridge
• Florin

🚆 Blue Line trains will continue to operate normally:
• Watt/I-80 ↔ City College
• Florin ↔ Cosumnes River College

If you’re riding SacRT today, Monday, September 7, please remember that fixed-route bus, light rail, and SacRT GO paratransit services are operating on a Sunday/Holiday schedule.

🚫 The following services are not operating today:

•Causeway Connection
• Elk Grove/UC Davis Medical Center Express (Route 137)
• Folsom Transit Services
• Elk Grove Transit Services, including e-van
• Rancho CordoVan
• SacRT Flex

The Customer Service and Sales Center at 1225 R Street is also closed today, but phone lines are open 7 a.m.–4 p.m.
