Our Community CarShare - Sacramento Welcome to Sacramento’s Electric CarShare Community! Three select communities will each have two vehicles conveniently parked on site in designated spaces.

Our Community CarShare is a new and easy way for Sacramento residents to access electric cars by the hour to run errands, go to appointments, and attend meetings. Need a car to do some errands? No problem, Our Community CarShare is designed for you 24/7 fully charged and ready to go! Community cars will be coming to the three select neighborhoods in just a few months and we are looking for partici

pants living in these communities to fully take advantage of this transportation resource so sign up today and reserve your spot for a FREE membership and FREE hours of drive time each month. Participation will be encouraged but limited to residents of each selected community where the vehicles are stationed and chargers installed. Interested in learning more about Our Community CarShare? Our Community CarShare is Sacramento's premier electric carsharing community pilot program by the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District. The program is funded by the California Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund and operated by Zipcar with the goal of increasing access to zero emission vehicles and enhancing clean mobility options. Our Community CarShare is a first of its kind in Sacramento and if successful will expand to other communities in the Sacramento area. One year ago Our Community CarShare Sacramento was launched! Resident members have completed nearly 6,000 total electric trips with 92,000 electric miles! Approximately one-third of the CarShare trips and miles directly displaced a personal gasoline vehicle, resulting in over 30,000 miles of gasoline vehicle miles traveled (VMT) reduction. Way to go! 🙌🏼🚗⚡️
