You’re invited to attend the Russell Community Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Dinner will be held on Thanksgiving starting at 12:00 p.m. A little bit about us:
The Thanksgiving Dinner was held at Trinity United Methodist Church for over 35 years. Our dinner has grown tremendously over the past couple of years, therefore we ar
e now relocating the dinner to a larger space at St. This is a covered dish meal that is free to the community. The covered dish is requested for the sides and desserts, but is not required. We provide the Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, rolls and drinks. This year we are providing transportation if necessary and delivering meals to those who cannot get out or are working. Please call Dannie'll at (785)483-1772 to request a pickup or delivery. The Thanksgiving meal is offered to the Community as a service of thanks and praise. We welcome anyone who wishes to bring their families and friends to celebrate Russell Community Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Thanksgiving is the celebration of bringing the community together to share the harvest bounty:

Help us celebrate this by joining your family with ours this Thanksgiving. If you cannot attend and would like to help, we are in need of the following:
Volunteers: meal preparation, serving, clean up, delivering meals and picking up those who need a ride. Dinner Provisions: plates, napkins, cups, and utensils. Food: We would gladly accept any donations of deserts or sides for the meal
Financial Contributions: to help up continue this meal for years to come
