Why did I become a travel advisor?
I have *always* loved travel - I mean *always*. From visiting family out-of-state to beach vacations, Europe, and Disney, travel has simultaneously given me endless memories and dreams - memories of past trips and dreams of where to go next.
I remember watching a television program with my dad when I was probably 7 or 8 years old - it was a documentary about Pompeii. I, at that young age, decided that one of my life's goals was to visit Pompeii some day. And when that day came (at the ripe old age of 15), I was beside myself. It was incredible.
As I got older, I found that I loved planning family vacations - researching our destination, creating an itinerary, making certain that we got the most out of our vacation - whether it was a weekend trip to NYC or Boston, or a longer vacation to the beach.
Fast forward to age 37 or 38 when my husband and I brought our children to Disney World for the first time: I had been to Disney as a child, but this was different. It was incredible and confusing all at the same time. I read everything I could, I worked with an incredible travel advisor, and came home from that trip with a full heart and a family that fell in love with Disney World. We continued making trips - some just my husband and me, some with the kids too.
I realized, after helping friends plan Disney trips and seeing others come to me with Disney questions, that my knowledge, skills, and interests would be a perfect fit as a travel advisor.
As your travel advisor, I will provide you the same level of service I myself would expect - to listen to your travel wants and needs, thoroughly research destinations and provide you with the best service possible, so that all you have to "worry" about is enjoying your trip!
