Sadie, who's also known as, 'The Praline Lady', is a New Orleans native who moved to Rome, Georgia, after Hurricane Katrina. Pralines have always been a passion of hers. She loves the aroma in her kitchen as she makes them and the enjoyment on the faces of the people who taste her candy for the very first time. It's as if they'd died and gone straight to heaven. The secret recipe was taught to her

by an aunt while she was in high school. At first, it was just a hobby to earn extra money, but later turned into a business after she lost her job. Years later, she perfected the recipe into her own to pursue her dream of manufacturing New Orleans Pralines.
