Happy Home Opener! 🦬🏈 I'm so excited to share this year's Bills yarn line-up with you in a couple weekends at the WNY Fiber Arts Festival on Sep 26th. Until then, you can reserve your skeins online which will be first priority as soon as I am back!

The newest edition to the collection, by popular demand is a mini skein set of all the colors! I can't wait to see all of the creative fan gear you create this year.

We were able to donate $255 to Lauren's campaign, which was just donated today right as she is competing in the ILCA 6 World Championships in Ireland! Plus...

Fall is for fiber and what better way to celebrate than at Rochester’s best craft night - Fiber Night!

We meet every Wednesday night 6-8 pm and all fiber crafts are welcome. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or Rochester’s fastest knitter. Pack your crochet, needle felting, spinning, or whatever you happen to be working on this week and join us for a relaxing evening of conversation and fun.

We even have a Discord group for more chatting and project sharing between meetups! The link is in my bio or you can head over to my website for even more info including getting on the email list for notifications. Get to know your Rochester crafty locals and join the best community.

New color alert! Say hello to Abandoned Subway 🚋

Growing up in 90’s Rochester, New York, the abandoned subway wasn’t just decaying transit infrastructure, it was pure local legend. Long after the cars stopped rolling in 1956, wild rumors swirled above ground. We heard whispers of secret subterranean art galleries and hidden communities living beneath the streets. Back before the internet could spoil the mystery, you had to rely on the stories of a few fearless kids who snuck into the dark, eerie tunnels and brought back grainy, prized photos to prove it.

Today, that historic stretch of the old Erie Canal aqueduct is a celebrated city landmark, its cavernous concrete walls draped in vibrant, ever-shifting graffiti art.

“Abandoned Subway” captures that exact intersection of urban lore and seasonal magic. It blends the fiery tones of autumn foliage with electric coral, bold red, warm yellow, and deep magenta combined with flashes of spray-paint green and gleaming city lights. Fall is, after all, the season of ghost stories, magic, and mystery. The trains may be gone, but the lure of Rochester's underground world is forever spun into this skein.
