I saw a sign today on my way home from getting a massage that said:
“PLEASURE IN THE JOB PUTS PERFECTION IN THE WORK.”
And I thought….YES. 🙌🏼
I genuinely love what I do. Is it hard sometimes? Absolutely. I work HARD. Some days, that means 16-hour days, especially when things get busy. I’m actually working on that part—learning to shut the computer down and make myself quit some nights. 😂 It’s a work in progress.
But I truly love what I do, and I wouldn’t trade it.
So, here are a few things about me you may or may not know:
🏝️ My favorite resort is JOIA Paraíso in Riviera Maya. JOIA Bávaro is a very close second, with Atelier Playa Mujeres rounding out my top three.
🌊 The first resort I ever stayed at was a Dreams resort and what is now known as Hyatt Ziva Cancun.
🏊🏼♀️ I’m actually a pool person more than a beach person most of the time. But give me an ocean view from my room and I’m happy. A quiet tropical view is pretty wonderful too—especially with coffee and a book.
📖 Speaking of books… I LOVE to read. The problem is I get distracted so easily that I rarely finish one while I’m at a destination.
🌴 My favorite spot at a resort? A hammock, if they have one. If not, give me a lounger by the pool or beach and I’m good.
🍸 One of my favorite parts of the day is getting ready early in the evening and heading to the lobby bar before dinner. Ronnie and I love to sit, people-watch, watch the bartenders create drinks, and chat with them when it’s not too busy.
😂 And here’s something funny: resort employees (bartenders and bellboys mostly) will recognize my husband if we’ve stayed there before. EVERY. TIME. Me? Rarely lol. I actually like it that way. I want to blend in and experience the resort the way my clients would. That’s how I can really get a feel for it.
🌅 If I sleep past 8 am while at a resort, I’m not happy. I loveeeee love love to experience resorts in the morning, when it’s quiet.
And when you book with me, I treat my clients the way I want to be treated.
I try to respond promptly. I provide destination guides, travel tips, and a specialized app that keeps all of your trip information organized and easy to find. I track flights, help guide you when things come up, and I’m there before, during, and after your trip.
And somewhere along the way, many of my repeat clients have become friends. ❤️
And referrals? They are the heart of a small business. 🫶

I’m also planning a very special family vacation for next year—one that will include our new granddaughter, Kate.
