Dates and Details have been revealed for the 2026 Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket prices vary per date and will be available for purchase starting on May 5th for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green.

Tickets will be available starting on May 12 for all other guests. Party dates often sell out, so our best tip is to plan early and purchase tickets in advance for your desired party date.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Party Ticket discounts are once again available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.

📱 Hand them your phone. That's it. That's the tip. 📱

Yesterday we broke down PhotoPass and Memory Maker - what it costs, when it's worth it, and when it's not. Today is the follow-up for everyone who read that and thought "I don't want to buy any of that."

You don't have to.

Every single PhotoPass photographer at Walt Disney World - every one of them, at every location, in every park - will take a photo with your personal phone if you hand it to them. No purchase required. No MagicBand scan needed. No strings attached.

They'll take the photo on your phone AND take one on their camera for PhotoPass. You walk away with a free, professional-quality photo on your own device that you can text, post, or print the second they hand your phone back. The PhotoPass version goes to your gallery with a watermark in case you want to upgrade later. But the one on your phone? That's yours. Right now. Free.

These aren't random Cast Members with a point-and-shoot. These are trained photographers with professional equipment who know every angle, every backdrop, and exactly where to position your family so Cinderella Castle or the Tree of Life or Spaceship Earth looks perfect behind you. They frame it better than any stranger you'd pull out of a crowd. They know the lighting. They know the timing. And they'll take multiple shots so you have options.

Here's what this actually solves. On every Disney trip there's one person in the family who takes all the photos and is never in any of them. That's usually Mom or Dad. You go home with 800 pictures of the kids having the time of their lives and zero photos of the whole family together. Hand the photographer your phone. Get in the picture. Be in the memory.

Did you know that you can go ahead and start booking Vacation Packages for Walt Disney World for 2027 NOW?! (Like...all the way through October 31, 2027. Seriously.)

You might be thinking, "But it's only April 2026?! How can I be thinking about 2027???" 😂 I get it! lol But here's why it CAN be awesome to go ahead and book a Package now:

1) Packages, no matter the TOTAL price, only require a $200 deposit! THAT'S IT! So you can lock in a vacation way far off in the future for just $200. Just. $200. (That IS fully refundable right up until 30 days before your check-in date. So you have TONS of time to decide whether the trip is a go or not!)

2) While certain deals and discounts for 2027 may not be released yet, you can apply those deals and discounts to EXISTING Package reservations when they become available! (So long as the Package meets the deal or discount requirement of course.) So, the total price at time of booking may NOT be the total price in the end!

3) If you're limited as to when you can take a vacation, you can go ahead and lock in your spot at your desired hotel for your desired dates.

If you're even thinking about it a little... Go for it! Book it! (How good does it feel to have something to look forward to, even if you're not 100% certain it's going to happen exactly as you've planned?)

I mean, you've gotta consider all the weather possibilities no matter what the forecast says (you know...Florida 😂), all the possible outfit + Minnie ear combos (you never know which you're going to feel like wearing each day - options, people!), all of your "extra" things like face/body/hair glitter (I fell in love with face sparkles on my last trip...), multiple shoe options (just in case!), and... CLEARLY this "overpacking" makes sense 😉 (Ok, but like, I do this everywhere I go lol So I kind of have no room to talk 😅)

This article is all about my approach to "selling" - and how I don't really like to do it! AND how I like to approach things instead... There's truly no aim with this article other than sharing my thoughts and just being transparent. It's not a "hey please please please pick me as your travel agent because I'm different" 😂 NOPE!
