Chesapeake and Delaware, LLC (CAD) was formed in 2016 for the purpose of owning, leasing, marketing, operating, and managing short line railroads and related businesses. Our management team has decades of experience providing quality, customer-focused service in the rail and trucking industries. We serve shippers located directly on our rail lines, and also utilize rail-truck transload options to

get product delivered directly to non-rail-served doors. The Dover and Rockaway River Railroad Company (DRRV) is a wholly owned subsidiary of CAD and operates in Morris County, New Jersey, providing freight rail service to Dover, Rockaway, Succasunna, Roxbury and the surrounding area. Affiliated Black River Railroad System includes the Belvidere & Delaware River Railway (BDRV) and the Black River & Western Railroad (BRW), which are jointly marketed and extend market reach into central New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. The CAD network connects with every rail terminal, industry siding, and port complex in North America via Norfolk Southern Corp. which directly serves 22 states, the District of Columbia, and has connections to every other U.S.
