Our anniversary falling on Labor Day felt like the perfect excuse to share a little throwback to our wedding day, 7 years ago today ❤️

It’s pretty crazy looking back at these pictures, knowing we were standing on the very dirt where our shop now sits today! If you would’ve told those two newlyweds what the next 7 years would bring, I’m not sure we would’ve believed you!

There have been a whole lot of tears, early mornings, late nights, long days, miles away from home, dirty hands, sacrifices, and plenty of figuring things out as we went. Working together every day certainly hasn’t always been easy and has tested us more times than we’d like to admit 😅 but through all of the good and the hard, we’ve grown together and built a life that we’re pretty dang thankful for 🙏🏻

One thing we know for sure is that none of this has been done on our own. We’ve been lucky enough to have some pretty incredible people work alongside us over the years who have put in the long days and cared about this business like it was their own. We’re thankful for EVERY single person who has ever been a part of Ament Trucking, both past and present. Each one has played a part in our story and helped make this place what it is today!

So it seems pretty fitting to spend Labor Day celebrating 7 years together and feeling extra thankful for all of the hard work, love, and really good people that have been a part of helping us get here.

Happy Labor Day from all of us at Ament Trucking, and cheers to 7 years of Mr. & Mrs. Ament 💍❤️🇺🇸

Today we want to give a well deserved shoutout to Steve in Truck #20 👏🏼❤️

Steve has been with us for a lot of years and a whole lot of miles, and his loyalty to Ament Trucking means more to us than he knows. He takes a ton of pride in #20, always keeps his equipment looking sharp, and isn’t afraid to put the miles on when there’s a job to get done. That kind of pride in both his truck and the job he does is something we truly appreciate!

Over the years, Steve has become a big part of Ament Trucking and the story behind where we are today. There’s something pretty special about looking back and realizing just how many miles someone has traveled alongside you, and we certainly don’t take that for granted!

Steve, thank you for sticking with us, for all the hard work you’ve put in, and for proudly being the guy behind the wheel of truck 20. We’re grateful for everything you’ve brought to Ament Trucking over the years and proud to have you as part of this crew 👏🏼❤️

Sometimes the boss man has to get out from behind the desk and wrenchin’ in the shop to show us he’s still got it 😎

Tyler moved the office to the truck for the day and got to spend a little time back behind the wheel! Every once in a while it’s good to get back out there and be reminded of where this whole crazy ride started 👏🏼

This morning we received a phone call that absolutely made our day.

A kind lady called and said, “Trucking companies always get the negative calls, and I wanted to call to give you some positive feedback about one of your trucks.”

The driver behind the wheel of the truck she was referring to was Matt. She went on to tell us what a respectful, professional, and courteous job he had done. Because Matt wears so many hats around here, it’s easy to overlook just how much he does. That’s what made this phone call so special.

Around here, Matt is so much more than a driver. He also dispatches, turns wrenches, tackles paperwork, solves problems, and is always willing to jump in wherever he’s needed. He’s been a HUGE part of building Ament Trucking over the years. Without his dedication, we simply wouldn’t be where we are today.

Her phone call got us thinking...

She is SO right. Too often, business owners only hear about the things that go wrong. There are so many hardworking people in the trucking industry who don’t always get the recognition they deserve for the things they do right.

So today, we’re starting something new and we need your help! “Going the Extra Mile” is going to be a series dedicated to highlighting the incredible people behind Ament Trucking who help make this company what it is. If you ever have a positive interaction with one of our drivers on the road or a member of our team in the office or shop, we’d truly love to hear about it. We don’t always get to hear the good, and we’d love the opportunity to recognize the people who represent Ament Trucking so well.

There truly is no better person to kick off this series than the man who has sacrificed so much to help build this company into what it is today. Matt, thank you for your hard work, professionalism, and the pride you take in everything you do. We appreciate you more than you know. 👏🏼❤️

We’re all set up in Perham at the Transportation Exploration Event 🚛 We are here until 11:00am, so make sure to stop out and check out one of our rigs along with all the other awesome vehicles and equipment they have set up here. Such a fun FREE event for the family!

What an awesome night at the United Community Bank Parking Lot Party 🎵 Big thanks to our friends over at Circle Ten Trucking for providing the trailer for the band. It’s always fun to see local businesses come together to help make events like this happen 👏🏼

There is so much happening in Perham this weekend!! Make sure to join us tonight at the Turtle Fest Parade at 6:30pm, and tomorrow morning at the FREE Transportation Exploration event from 9-11:00am 🐢☀️

Big thanks to our driver, Brady, for taking the time to bring one of our trucks and cattle pots over today while the guys are busy wrenching in the shop. Takes a village to keep things rolling around here, and we are blessed with a pretty awesome one!!

We mayyyy have gone a little overboard on our last merch order, so our loss is your gain! (Apparently the same people who think one more truck is a good idea are also in charge of ordering merch 😜)

We've marked down all current inventory on the website and need to make a little room before we bring in anything new! If you’ve been eyeing anything up, now would be a great time to grab something. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!
