People overwhelmingly agree: Federal funding should be invested in bicycling and walking infrastructure.

But funding programs that help make trails and active transportation infrastructure possible in places across the country are at risk. Cool Cat Cycles

Cycling is more than speed, medals, or breaking records. At its heart, it is a test of resilience, determination, and self-discovery. Every ride, whether on city streets, mountain trails, or endless country roads, challenges both the body and the mind.

The photo above perfectly captures the essence of cycling: sweat, dirt, exhaustion, and the pure joy of crossing the finish line. Success is not only about being first; it is about showing up, pushing past your limits, and refusing to quit when your body begs for rest.

What makes cycling truly special is its personal nature. Some ride to compete, some to stay healthy, and others simply for the feeling of freedom. Regardless of the reason, every cyclist understands the unique empowerment that comes from pushing through fatigue, reaching the summit after a tough climb, or crossing the finish line after a long struggle.

Cycling builds more than physical strength; it builds character. The discipline gained on the bike translates into everyday life: perseverance through challenges, patience on long journeys, and appreciation for small victories.

The rider in this photo reminds us that cycling is not limited to a certain body type or background. It is for anyone willing to embrace the challenge and chase the feeling of freedom on two wheels. Her raised arms tell a story of grit and triumph, proof that the human spirit can overcome any obstacle.

Ultimately, cycling teaches a simple but powerful lesson: success is not about being the fastest or the strongest, it is about never giving up. And that is a finish line anyone can cross.

🚴‍♂️✨ Two-wheeled history moment!
Today we tip our helmets to John Kemp Starley — the mechanical genius who gave the world the modern bicycle!

He passed away on October 29, 1901, but his invention keeps us rolling strong more than a century later. 🙌

Starley’s 1885 Rover Safety Bicycle replaced the wobbly high-wheelers with a stable, chain-driven design — the blueprint for every modern ride. So next time you’re cruising, climbing, or coasting downhill yelling “Wheeee!”, thank John for making bikes safe, sleek, and oh-so-fun. 😄

⚙️ Here’s to the wheel deal, the chain-ring king, and the true OG of cycling innovation!
