Our family lost the extraordinary this month: our wise, radiant, fiercely loving, and remarkable mom, Selva. She was the inspiration for BAVETTE.

Mom spent a lifetime touching people in simple yet profound ways. Her greatest legacy was how special she made people feel. She was a natural joy spreader, doling out pearls of wisdom to anyone who sought her advice. And people lined up to get it. Be kind, protect nature, respect yourself and each other, learn as much as you can, eat healthy, have faith, look your best, be fearless, take nothing for granted, love deeply, live fully.

Mom appreciated beauty in all forms throughout her long life. She was a natural beauty herself and liked to feel pretty. Even after a stroke and dementia eventually set in, we made sure she could always feel her best. BAVETTE is the essence of Mom. When life throws you off balance, feeling cared for and respected is everything.

Mom, you’ve left the greatest hole in our hearts. But we will keep your spirit alive and lead by your example forever. ✨❤️✨
