Five days in Antigua and I think I may have left a little piece of my heart there. 🇦🇬❤️

I went to Antigua to explore, learn, and tour resorts so I could better help my clients decide if this island is the right fit for them. What I didn't expect was just how much I would fall in love with the island itself.

The beaches… WOW. 🏖️ Antigua is known for having 365 beaches, so technically you could visit a different one every day of the year.
And after seeing several of them, I can definitely understand why people fall in love with this place.

I toured everything from “cheap and cheerful” to some seriously luxurious resorts, including properties with incredible dining experiences and even a Michelin starred chef. There really is something here for just about every type of traveler.

But one resort really stole my heart.

❤️ Sandals Grand Antigua ❤️

Located right on beautiful Dickinson Bay, the setting is simply gorgeous. There is something about walking onto a beautiful Caribbean beach and thinking, “Yep… I could stay here for a while.” 🌴☀️

After touring so many resorts during my visit, Sandals Grand Antigua was the one that kept popping back into my mind. Maybe it was the beach. Maybe it was the atmosphere. Maybe it was just that feeling you get when a place clicks with you.

Whatever it was… this one won me over.

I came home from Antigua with a much better understanding of the island and its resorts, but also with a new appreciation for just how special this little island is.
