The most expensive mistake I see group travelers make is not what you may think . . .
It’s actually the time wasted trying to research and plan group trips without understanding the group they’re planning for .
Let me explain. A lot more goes into group travel than a group chat and a beautiful destination.
Here are my top 3 tips for planning group trips:
1. Agree on the reason for the trip. I know this may sound simple but hear me out. Make sure your group is traveling with the same type of trip in mind. One lady’s I’m letting my hair down after her divorce looks very different from the mom of 4 kids who wants to just relax. Get it?
2. Budget-HAVE THE BUDGET DISCUSSION!!Everyone will say the price doesn’t matter until it’s time to pay. It’s a hard but necessary discussion. Make sure you all agree on a budget and stick to it.
3. Date-Have multiple date options in mind. Remember to check the calendar before booking for local holidays, major events and religious observances. These things can make or break a trip or a budget.
4. BONUS want to skip all the planning and just travel. Click the link in my bio to join my email list and future group journeys.
