First, let me introduce myself. My name is Amid, owner-operator of Elephant Movers LLC.
I started my moving operations in 2019, serving the Raleigh, North Carolina market. For 4.5 years, I stayed local, mastered my craft, and built my foundation in residential moving. Along the way, I mixed in some freight across the lower 48 states because, muthaf**ka, I wanted to see America! 🤣
I’ve run box trucks. I’ve done hotshot. I’ve been out here figuring this transportation game out from the ground up.
Then I stepped into interstate residential moving, and let me tell you something: I found out real quick that moving furniture across state lines is a whole different animal.
I had to learn proper loading techniques, understand tariffs, navigate different markets, and figure out the operational side of an industry I thought I already understood. I learned from the labor crews I hired, met other moving company owners, studied how they operated, and got my hands dirty in the process.
I didn’t just read about this business. I went out there and learned it the hard way.
I’m vetted. I’m experienced. And now I’m ready to scale.
Here’s where you come in.
I’m looking to connect with established freight company owners and owner-operators who have trucks, equipment, and the experience to run a business—but may be looking for another revenue stream beyond the traditional freight market.

Elephant Movers LLC is expanding its interstate residential moving operations, and I’m looking to lease on or contract qualified trucks to perform moving services throughout the lower 48 states.
My target is to build operations capable of generating $10,000–$12,000 in weekly gross revenue per truck, depending on the equipment, routes, availability, and volume of work.
Let me be clear: that’s a gross revenue target, not a promise of take-home profit. The goal is to build a model that makes business sense for everyone involved.
I’m not looking to compete with your company. I’m looking to create an opportunity for your company to grow in a different direction.
You already know trucks. You know maintenance, insurance, drivers, and operations. What you may not know is how to enter the interstate residential moving industry and navigate its requirements.
