COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP SUPPORTING OUR DIVE/RESCUE TEAM

MIDLAND, MI – The Midland County Sheriff’s Office is proud to recognize Wolverine Pipe Line Company for its generous $2,700 contribution toward the replacement of critical dive equipment for our Dive/Rescue Team.

Our Dive/Rescue Team responds to a variety of water-related emergencies throughout Midland County and surrounding communities, including underwater search and rescue, drowning incidents, recovery operations, evidence recovery, ice rescues, and other water emergencies. Reliable equipment is essential to ensuring our divers can safely and effectively perform these missions.

The $2,700 contribution will help fund the replacement of aging full-face dive masks and associated underwater communication equipment. Several of our existing masks have begun to fail due to age, reducing the number of fully equipped divers available for emergency response. Replacing this equipment will help restore team’s operational readiness and ensure our divers have dependable
equipment when responding to critical incidents.

We are grateful to Wolverine Pipeline Company for investing in the safety of our first responders and the community we serve. Partnerships like this allow us to maintain and improve the lifesaving capabilities of our public safety teams.
