Behind every package we ship from Weiss Workshop is a small, husband-and-wife team right here in NY. What started out as a hobby in our cellar with one small 3D printer and handcrafted wooden cutting boards quickly became our biggest passion project.

My husband, Kyle is an electrical engineer and first responder..is the technical brain and maker who can bring literally any idea to life from scratch. I handle everything behind the scenes, from social media and creative design to customer care.
But what many people don't know is why this workshop means so much to me personally.

A few years ago, my health changed drastically. Navigating Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), chronic migraines, and complex spinal and neurological conditions made traditional employment impossible. Between major surgeries, ongoing medical procedures, and the day-to-day realities of chronic illness, life can feel overwhelming.

Weiss Workshop became my lifeline and creative sanctuary. It gave me a purpose to pour my heart into on the hard days and a space to connect with such a wonderful community from home. It’s also why our hand poured beeswax candles exist: living with health sensitivities and pets meant we needed clean, non-toxic, pet-friendly alternatives with untreated wood wicks that are truly safe to burn. We also make soy!
Every 3D printed piece, cozy gothic decor item, and candle isn't just inventory..it’s a piece of our journey, built with resilience, teamwork, and love. And it's made to order!

We wanted to create a collection for spooky season that feels personal to us. A lot of people don’t realize Sleepy Hollow is actually a real place, and we happen to be local!

Long before I met Kyle, I’d take solo drives over to Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown just to grab a hot coffee, wander around the cemetery, and enjoy nature.

We brought that exact vibe into these two candles.

🎃Sleepy Hollow Cemetery captures that moody, quiet atmosphere with damp moss, crushed fall leaves, worn saddle leather, crisp pine, and warm amber. It smells like a misty midnight walk beneath the trees. (You guys voted for this one!!)

🎃The Horseman’s Harvest leans into cozy fall comfort with orchard apples, whipped butter, pumpkin spice, rich molasses, maple, and warm vanilla. It is sweet, rich, and perfect for when the weather starts to turn cool.

Most people think 3D printing means flimsy, throwaway desk clutter you'd find in a bargain bin. Or the same flexi dragons you see EVERYWHERE.

We hated that, so we built Weiss Workshop around the opposite idea: intentional utility.

Our catalog is built on durable, functional pieces designed to earn a permanent spot on your shelves. Yes, we keep a couple of crowd-favorite fidgets because life is stressful and good sensory design is fun..but novelty isn't our identity.

We're also upfront about the materials: we're using plastic (obviously) + other materials. To offset that footprint, every single order ships in plastic-free, recyclable, compostable packaging. No synthetic bubble wrap, no unnecessary waste.
