The latest announcements from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim have us even MORE excited for the future of our favorite Disney destinations! 🏰🌎🚢
🏰 DISNEYLAND RESORT
The future is looking BIG in California! 🌴✨
🎸 A brand-new Coco attraction is coming to Disney California Adventure, taking guests into the world of Miguel and the Land of the Dead.
🦸♀️ Avengers Campus is expanding! Two new attractions — Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab — are expected to open in 2028 and will nearly double the size of the land. Marvel heroes including Iron Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Thor and more will be part of the adventure! 💥
🚀 And yes… Tomorrowland is getting a major reimagining! Disney announced plans to transform the land with new attractions, more open space and a fresh vision for the future as Disneyland looks toward its 75th anniversary in 2030. ✨
🏰 WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT
There is A LOT happening at Walt Disney World! 🤩
🏎️ Piston Peak is moving forward at Magic Kingdom, bringing a Cars-inspired area to Frontierland with racing and demolition-derby-style experiences.
😈 Villains Land is also coming to Magic Kingdom, featuring two major attractions, including a thrilling Maleficent-inspired roller coaster and a dark ride filled with some of Disney’s most iconic villains!
🌎 At Animal Kingdom, Tropical Americas continues to take shape with Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, an Encanto attraction, and a new animal-themed carousel.
🏔️ And the announcement Disney fans have been waiting for… THE YETI IS COMING BACK! 🫣❄️ Expedition Everest’s legendary Yeti will once again be brought to life!
👹 Over at Hollywood Studios, Monstropolis is moving ahead, bringing the world of Monsters, Inc. to life — including Disney’s first suspended roller coaster!
🌐 EPCOT is getting some major love, too! Spaceship Earth will receive a new storyline focused on human connection and technology, while Journey Into Imagination will be completely reimagined with the return of two fan favorites: Figment AND Dreamfinder! 💜🌈
And for fans of classic Disney… Carousel of Progress is set to return in 2027 with updated scenes and new voice talent, including Bryan Cranston and Jamie Lee Curtis! 🎠✨ (The Walt Disney Company)

The future at sea is just as exciting!
🚢 Disney Believe, expected to debut in late 2027, will be the fourth Wish-class ship and the final Wish-class ship operated by Disney Cruise Line in this expansion. Her theme will center around believing in dreams and possibilities, with stories inspired by Encanto, Frozen, Snow White, Moana, and The Little Mermaid. 🌊✨
🌺 And of course, Moana will have a special presence aboard the ship, adding even more South Pacific magic to the experience.
🚢 But Disney Cruise Line isn’t stopping there! A brand-new class of ships is on the horizon beginning in 2029, giving us an entirely new chapter in the future of Disney cruising! ⚓️🌟
